 Q: What is your return policy?

Italy2000: We will gladly exchange in-stock accessories in new condition accompanied by original receipt within 24 hours. No return or exchange on special orders. All refunded goods (in new condition) that are not special order are subject to a 20% restocking fee. The balance of any return will be issued in the form of store credit only.

Please note that any item sold in "as is" condition may not be returned under any circumstances. Bedding cannot be returned.



Q: How much does your shipping cost?

Italy2000: We deliver anywhere in the United States and the world with a variety of delivery options to best serve you. Shipping costs vary depending upon the mode of delivery, distance, size and weight of the piece. For a minimal fee, Italy2000 offers a 3rd party delivery and installation service. For your convenience, deliveries will arrive at your home within a scheduled 4 hours time period. Deliveries are typically scheduled 5 days a week, Monday – Friday.

Unfortunately, due to liability, we are prohibited to move any of your existing furniture. The area where your new furniture will be placed must be clear of any existing furniture before delivery. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter. 


Q: Can I pick up my furniture instead of having it delivered?

Italy2000: Yes. Customers can choose to pick up their furniture instead of having it delivered. Items can be picked up from our Sherman Oaks location Monday-Friday, 10am-6 pm.


Q: What is your long distance delivery program?

Italy2000: We partner with an outside, professional delivery company to deliver to your home. Delivery is available anywhere in U.S., and the World outside of our local delivery zones. You could choose either one:

Curbside delivery: This is recommended for small or medium sized boxed furniture pieces like chairs, end tables, floor lamps, mirrors, etc. The items would be dropped off at your home. The customer is responsible for moving the item into the home. The customer is responsible for disposing of packing materials. Estimated delivery time would be 10-14 working business days from the day the order leaves our warehouse. The carrier company would contact you before delivery.

White Glove delivery: This is recommended for larger orders and large furniture pieces like sofa, bed, dining set, armoire, etc. The delivery team would place the items inside the home and assemble them. All packing materials would be removed. Estimated delivery time would be 10-14 working business days from the day the order leaves our warehouse. The carrier company would contact you before delivery.


Q: Do you ship by UPS or FedEX?

Italy2000: UPS or FedEX is recommended for small accessories and soft goods. We do ship anywhere in the United States. Estimated delivery time would be 7-10 working business days from the day the order leaves our warehouse. The delivery cost would be calculated when you place the order.

Q: What if my furniture arrives damaged?

Italy2000: Damaged furniture is rare, but in case you get damaged furniture, you should make sure to take digital photos of the damages including the damaged packaging materials (if any) before the delivery person leaves. And please make a note of the damage on the delivery receipt. Call the shipping company immediately and they shall guide you on how to resolve the matter at the earliest.



Q: How do I pay for my furniture?

Italy2000: Payment can be made by credit card, cash, or check.


Q: How much deposit do I have to give to place an order?

Italy2000: To place an order requires a deposit of 50% to start the order. Upon receipt of your deposit, your order is placed immediately. We will contact you directly to let you know the estimated date of delivery. The balance of your order must be received prior to delivery or shipping.

We try our best to complete each order by the agreed upon date, however, circumstances beyond our control might cause a delay. At all times we remain in close contact with you, apprising you of the progress of your furniture.



Q: What happens if I damage my merchandise and would like it fixed?

Italy2000: Depending on what you did to it, contact us at (818) 762 2000 and we will discuss with you possible solutions. If needed we will get it repaired for you at a very nominal charge. You will pay shipping both ways.


Q: Do you have instructions on assembling furniture?

Italy2000: Assembly instructions are always included with the furniture. It is very important that these instructions be followed completely to ensure safety as well as the care of the item. Please contact us at (818) 762-2000 or email us if you have questions regarding assembling furniture.

Q: Do you sell furniture directly off the showroom floor?

Italy2000: Yes the furniture in our showroom is for sale and available for immediate delivery.


Q: Isn't leather hot in the summer and cold in the winter?

Italy2000: Leather conforms to its environment. It adapts to the temperature of a room, or your body on it and will maintain a consistent temperature that will feel good to your skin.


Q: Should I be concerned if my new leather furniture has small lines or blemishes on the surface?

Italy2000: Markings such as scars, insect bites, wrinkles, veining are natural characteristics of genuine leather. Corrected leathers which have been protected and finished to create a consistent, uniform look and feel- then you will see fewer marks. However, natural leather will show more natural markings, such as insect bites, scars and stretch marks, as well as color variations. These color variations can occur within the same hide because there is no finish applied to give the look of consistent color as there is in a corrected hide. This is an indication of the authenticity of the leather, and should not be considered a defect. Actually, it should be treated as a “mark” of true, high quality leather.


Q: I have pets and I don’t want my dog or cat to damage the leather with its claws, what should I do?

Italy2000: If you are worried about your pets damaging leather you should look at the most appropriate leather for a home with pets. You probably should go with protected finish leather because it is more easily repaired. Repairs are also likely to be less noticeable because of the color finishing that is applied to this family of leather.


Q: Why is one leather grade more expensive than another?

Italy2000: The main determining factor of a grade of leather is the origin of the raw hide. Hides from the Southern Hemisphere are more abundant and tend to show more of the natural characteristics of leather. They are less supple than hides from the Northern Hemisphere. Generally speaking, the higher grades of leather come from hides raised in the Northern Hemisphere. Hides come from all over the world, and are classified into categories based on their origin. Then they are sorted by the amount of natural characteristics that are present on the hide. Since hides with fewer characteristics are rarer, they usually are more expensive, and require less processing to complete the leather. Hides from the Southern Hemisphere usually represent the majority of all hides. These hides, by their origin, have more natural characteristics and will show more variation in color. This is not a defect.


Q: Why can the price of leather furniture vary so much? 

Italy2000: A very important part of the final product’s price is based on the leather’s characteristics. As grades of leather increase, the cost of the final product also increases. However there are many other factors that affect pricing including: dimension, style, leg type and stitching details.


Q: How can I care for my leather upholstery?

Italy2000: We recommend cleaning it using a neutral soap diluted with water. Use a dry, soft and white cloth. We do recommend conditioning your sofa once a year. Simply dusting the sofa, and cleaning up spots when they occur and conditioning regularly should help keep your sofa looking good for its expected life. Remember that leather is a natural material that can change its appearance as it ages.
